Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary. Oh my, is it 2 years already? Feel like yesterday we're still going for our prewedding photoshoot, choosing the photos, scouting for wedding reception place, getting upset from chasing the invitation cards that keeps getting delayed.. Oh yeah, a wedding needs a lot lot looooots of planning! Though it can be quite stressful, I kinda miss those moments sometimes..
And also remembering that our "dream" wedding is supposed to be in SG, we've almost signed up to a wedding lunch at Hilton hotel, as I like the pool located just beside the reception area.
I still remember the worries a few days before the wedding: will everything be ok? who will be the main coordinator? will we have enough time for photo taking in the church? will we be late to the reception? will the cake look nice? how about the church deco? and will the choir sings nicely? and so on and so on..
And I also still remember the arguments we had for the wedding.. Should the wedding be in sg or jakarta? How many people will be invited? What's the budget for this and that.. And also just few days before the wedding, when pi refused to take videoshooting for the groom's side because of time limitation.. Oh my, how I worried at that time. Wouldn't it look funny if the video only have the bride's side? But thankfully we managed to resolve all the arguments and all sides are in a win-win situation.
Despite all the "troubles" in wedding preparation, the overall experience (especially during the day itself) was jubilant! At least as I look back to that day, the memory that I have is definitely a good one :)

And of course thank God everything went smoothly.. All my worries can settle by themselves. Everything was haaaappyy.. Well, the number of guests coming to the party was way out of our expectation. Since it was such a hot date (until we can't even get an affordable wedding car as all has been rented out and almost all of the reception places are booked for dinner, so we have to settle for lunch instead!), I was surprised to see the number of guests coming to the wedding. I hope there were enough food to entertain them. One thing for sure is the vegetarian and "gubuk" food was not enough.. But then again, it will never be enough as people will be kiasu to have them first before the main course!
And a funny thing happening in the wedding was.. we bought 2 confetti for the wedding toast. Well, we bought the cheapest we can find in Mangga Dua.. hehe... and during the wedding toast, when the MC was saying "Wedding... Toast!!" ............... then it was... silence...... BOTH confetti are not working! haha.. Aiyoh.... a good lesson learnt.. don't buy the cheapest thing around... :)
And my beloved bouquet..

Oh oh.. Isn't it a pretty little thing? I love it a lot..... But sadly it's no longer with us now.. I believe my sister already sent her to the rubbish bin loooooong ago.. 1 day after the wedding, one of the roses (in the middle somemore!) was "running away" from it's friends! Haha.. Yeah it drops.. so sad.. Anyway, no use crying over spilled milk.. Let's remember another happy little details..
Ah.. how about...

..the chapel in which we exchange our vows! Look at how beauuuuutiful and classic it looks.. I've always wanted to get married in this kind of place! And with the pretty pink-white decoration (with minimum budget btw), it was justttt.. peeeeeeeerrrfect!
Well, other than the fact that the sisters that manage this chapel had a looooot of rules.. cannot use electricity for the video lighting.. the decoration must be done at this time to this time.. must pay for admin fee.. cannot do many things.. but since i love this place so much, we still choose to held our holy matrimony there. And little did we know that there were so many people coming to the chapel. There was no enough seat since the chapel was quite small.. Some people were standing outside of the chapel liao.. Oh well, it means that many people wants to give us their blessings right? :)
Wow.. what a long post it is... And there are lots of other details that I haven't put up here.. I guess I can't possibly put all here right? ;)
