Back!! (and Family Photoshooting)

We're baaaaaaacccckkkk!!!!!

Updates on the details of our days in Jakarta would need to wait.. Coz I haven't got the photos yet.. (I forgot to bring CD/thumb drive to Jakarta, and trying to copy the photos to iPhone is somehow unsuccessful.. haha)

Anyway, let me write on something, that I've already had the photos first.

We went for our first studio family photoshoot! We went to the same one that my sister went to (Star Studio). The package is not so expensive, converted to SGD it's about $66, already includes 15 soft-copy of the photos (untouched), an album containing 6 touch-up photos, and a 12R touch-up of one of the photos. No costume or make-up included in the photos, though.

Getting Vio to cooperate in taking photos were proven to be real challenge. He keep wanting to run away and kick the ball that they have in the studio. And getting him to pose non standard pose is even more difficult (for example: lying face down on the floor). But overall, it was quite ok.. (for $66!!)  Though in the end I just remember there's 1 pose I wanna request but I forget.. the pose where daddy & mommy kiss Vio at the same time! Sigh sigh.. nvm..

Christmas Time!

Oops.. Christmas is long over, yeah? Ok ok I know.. Kekekee... Only got the photos now, so that's why I can only post now ;)

Anyway, as the previous years, we went for our Christmas "photoshoot" in city area. This year, we're going Orchard Road on 20 Dec 2009, starting from Plaza Singapura. The full crew includes pi, me, Vio, Allie, A'a and Budiman. Yay.. it's Vio's first ever Christmas "photoshoot"! :)

We began with... dinner at Yoshinoya. And Vio insisted that we gave him some of our food too. So.. that makes his first time eating real-rice that's not porridge-rice.. And he loves it of course.. it's adult food afterall! After filling up our "fuel", we began with the photoshoots..

And for this photoshoot, Allie and me has bought a T-shirt together! Hmm.. just so happen that while we're going shopping after having lunch together, both of us like this T-shirt, then decided to wear it for the photoshooting.. lol..

By this time, Vio started to get tired.. So we only joined them for the photoshoot until we reach Paragon. After taking the group photo, we went to queue for taxi to go home.

.. BUT unfortunately the taxi queue was soooooooo looooooong, it was divided to 2 section. After finish queueing in 1 section, go to the other section to continue queueing.. wow.... so after waiting for few mins, we decided to walk to Lucky Plaza taxi stand instead, thinking that more taxi is going thru that road...

... but the queue was also very long.. we waited for about 40 mins for our taxi I think.. pi was quite upset waiting for the taxi and saying, next time no more Orchard.. sob sob..

Anyway, Vio was so tired he finally fall asleep at the cab.. Overall we had quite a good time, even though we only took few photos, definitely not as much as previous years. I think the total no of photos is not even half of last year!! :)

Studio Photos

Savio had his first-ever studio photos! He had it together with cici Cheryll in Dark Room, located in Mall Artha Gading, Jakarta. Well, I'm quite satisfied with the result. Vio was quite smiley at first, he kept showing his "mata genit" to the photographer. But at the last costume - tigger costume (and it's the main one that I wanted actually!!) he started to be unhappy and cried... so didn't manage to capture nice ones with tigger costume..

Anyway.. Rp. 200,000.00 for 12 photos is quite a deal hor? It's... less than S$30!! Wow...

Captured Moments

There are 2 expressions of Vio that I can't capture using my own digital camera. I'm so happy that our last photoshoot can capture these 2 valuable expressions..

This is the first one. It's a photo of Vio closing his eyes tight while throwing something. Oh yeah, he likes to do that. He will close his eyes tight tight if he feels scared of doing it, such as throwing things around, opening the door to see daddy's behind it. Isn't his expression cuteeee?

Haha.. this is the 2nd one.. it's his crying face!! Look at how he can arch his mouth to form a n-shape.. kekekekek... it's also difficult for me to capture his cry.. well.. if he's crying, i can't possibly be "busy" taking photos of it right? ;)

The Photos are Out!

Yippyyyy.. the moments that we've been waiting for is here... the photoshoot result is out! Finally! After such a looOOooOoong wait.. Now we only need to select 3 photos of which we'll get the big resolution file and a print out :)

Family Photoshoot

We had our first ever family photoshoot last Sunday, courtesy of Hendra from MasaKecil Photography. Read the previous post if you don't know about it yet!

We went to Botanical Garden on late afternoon, and Vio was sleeping in the taxi. We waited for about 1/2 hour before he finally woke up from his beauty sleep, and ready to start for the photoshooting!

As expected, Vio was scared to go down to the grass.. but after a while, he can relax himself, and even choose to sit down by himself from standing position! And at the last few shots, he also wanted to crawl a bit bit in the grass, even though still hesitant. But so proud of him for conquering his fear of grass! kekekeke...

The weather was good, but too bad Vio wasn't smiling in the photoshooting.. Sigh.. should've scheduled it to early morning instead, where he's the happiest.. Anyway we've seen some of the photoshoot result posted on MasaKecil blog, and it looks nice! Can't wait to see the rest! Should be in 1-2 weeks time..

Other than the photoshoot, hmmm.. there seems to be nothing extraordinary during weekend... We spent a lot of time with Vio during the weekend, however, as I was telling pi, even though we spent lots of time playing with him, it feels like it's such a short time, and we never have enough time to play with him (even when we've been with him for the whole day!). And pi was saying.. maybe it's coz Vio is busy playing with himself, and we're "ignored" while he's busy playing with himself... Well, that's kinda true actually.. Vio will be busy with himself.. We don't need to do anything other than to sit there and accompany & look at him. If we walk away, he'll look at us and want to follow where we're going. And if we're looking away (as in watching tv etc), he'll look at us until we look at him again, then he'll continue to be busy with himself.. lol.. Such a smart boy ;)

Here is some photos taken during the weekend. I bought a new cap for him from Kiddy Palace as he doesn't have a big enough cap now.. This one fits him just nice for now.. But not sure how long can it last? Anyway he doesn't like to wear a hat.. He'll take it off almost immediately after I put it on..
