We just went to the PD last night since it's time for Vio's developmental assessment and injection. Vio weighs 8.3kg now! Wow isn't that fast?? He cried a bit during the injection, but not as loud as the previous one! The previous injection he was screaming like mad!
We also asked the doc about his unusuall crankiness (esp during night time when he wants to sleep, he can cry until dunno like what liao) and the red rashes he has at his back and neck. What we initially thought as prickly heat turns out to be ECZEMA.. doc said it's coz of vio has sensitive skin, which is hereditary, since both pi and i are having sensitive skin. Pi has even got eczema before! So doc asked us to change the body wash we're using, and also apply some medication on the affected area. And I thought sebamed (the brand vio is using now) is suitable for sensitive skin.. I hope vio will recover soon. I feel hurt everytime i see the red rashes on his body. It must be very itchy and he can't do anything about it :(

Playing with hands
Last night Savio was busy playing with his hands, i.e. open and close, open and close, and watching it in amazement. How cute is that!
Today lunch time, I went to Kiddy Palace (again) to buy blanket for Savio. Because the blanket he's using at home is fleece blanket. It's super hot since no air can come thru. Andd.. I caught him 2 times having his head caught UNDER the blanket. so scary! Lucky thing he keeps making some noise. I'm sure there's no air under the blanket. Until now, if I remember when I found his head under the blanket, I still feel so scared. I'm scared he can't breathe and we dunno about it! Especially since he's an "acrobatic" sleeper. He can somehow turn his body 180 degrees when he sleep.
So decided to buy him a new blanket. I was standing there choosing blanket for verrrry long. As usual, I can't make up my mind which one to buy. Initially I was thinking to buy thermal blanket. But this has got some "holes" in it, so I'm not sure whether it'll be warming enough. And somemore it's not so smooth to the skin. Finally I ask another mummy there who was also choosing blanket. And she pointed out that the blanket from Babysafe would be better, coz the blanket with "holes" are supposed to be for fan only as it's quite cooling.. heheee.. I dunno how true.. but anyway I finally bought the babysafe one.. I hope vio will feel comfortable in it :)

Opa & Oma going home :(
Can't believe how fast 1 week has passed. My parents have to go home liao.. They went home last night. Yesterday we went to Chinatown for shopping, and finally managed to find this Buddha Tooth Relic Temple that my brother has wanted to see since his last visit to SG. I've never even heard of it before he mentioned it! We look through the map but somehow can't find the place. Finally we asked someone manning a stall, only then we managed to find the place! We took some photos there and go home..
My parents say that Savio is very active and likes to smile. He also likes Koko Marcell very much! There was 1 night before bedtime that they play together. Marcell pretends to be a frog that keeps jumping with frog sound: "kroooooook krok krok". Savio was laughing out loud. I've never seen him laughing THAT loud before.. hahaa..

Opa & Oma Visit!

Few days since I last update this blog, and it's bcoz my parents came for a visit! Last Sunday, pi and I brought Vio to the airport to fetch my parents, my brother, and Marcell. Vio was so happy to see many new ppl that he keeps smiling :)
First day we went to orhard then Sentosa and all of us ride on luge. My parents are quite happy they laugh while riding it. A new experience for them! After that we took the skyride, and also desperado. Desperado is a new attraction where we're supposed to shoot the bandits usign laser gun. It wasn't so nice as they repeat the scene bcoz it was too short! But it was a fun time. They highlighted the person who didn't shoot any target successfully, and got 1 time my dad was highlighted! haha.. after that we watched Song of the Sea.. they quite like it :)

2nd day was shopping day! we went to Bugis and shop a lot there.. my bro bought this nice shoe, and I wanted to buy 1 for pi too, since I think he'll love it. But then my bro say he'll pay for it to be a gift for pi.. thanks so much!
3rd day... we went to haw par villa. we took a double deck bus and marcell was soooo happy. It's his first time riding a bus! Haw par villa is apparently much nicer than what I imagined it would be.. we took LOTS of photos there. When it comes to lunch time... there's only 1 stall selling food there.. and guess what's the only thing in the menu? INSTANT NOODLES! i wanna laugh out loud when I read the menu.. hehee.. but anyway the noodles are not bad :p
after that, we went home and my parents, bro, and marcell are preparing to go to genting + kl. how i wish i can join them :p
