Sudoku! + LO

Woah hoo... Pi just knew yesterday that he was selected to be in semi-final for Sudoku Challenge, and the email was already sent last week! kekekek.. since the semi-final will be held tomorrow, last night he was busy reading on the "tactics" to do sudoku. Hope that he can pass the semi-final to go to the final!

Since last night pi was busy with sudoku, I got time to be busy with scrap! So happy I can finish an LO within 1 day. It's a rare thing to happen.. kekekekk.. here's the final product. I'm using mostly Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection. I'm loving this range!

G is for Grandparents

woah hoo.. finally i managed to finish an LO last night after so many nights off. I miss scrapping so much! =)

This LO is about Savio with both side of his grandparents. Quite simple but overall I'm quite happy with it =)

Cuuuuutie!

I'm spending the whole weekend with Vio! Esp since nai2 and daddy are accompanying relatives to Sentosa the whole of Satuday. Have to say that it's actually quite tiring. Esp since Vio gets bored of something really fast, and I have to keep thinking of ways to "entertain" him. Otherwise he can get all fussy.. hehee.. Look at this photo I took over the weekend with his new hat (a pass down from Koko Marcell):

And actually I discovered that Vio has started to "understand" things.. Normally every morning, after he had his night feeds, or at certain timing, we'll put him on our bed, between pi and me. Then he'll normally sleep there until morning.. Last night, after his night feed, pi put him back to his cot. Not long after, he started squealing. And apparently he was looking at me with his hands holding the side cot bars, as if trying to say "why am i here? i'm supposed to sleep with mommy and daddy". When I put him on our bed, he instantly fell asleep on his own! Amazing thing how baby so small can understand things.. =)

Happy Bath Time

Vio is so happy when it came to bath timeee... Yesterday he kept laughing while I was bathing him, coz I put his bath toys on top of the duckie head, and let it slide down to the bath tub, and the water splashed to his face. He was so happy when I did that! hahaa.. And I'm so happy to hear his loud laugh =)

5 months - Curious

I just finished an LO last night for Vio's 5 months milestones!

During Savio's 5 months, he exceptionally likes to try eating his foot! Just look at the photos. Very acrobatic hor? :D  I tried to do the same thing too, but I can't! hahaa..

Last night I was very high-spirited. I almost complete 1 more LO! But no time to complete it yet... And I foresee I won't be able to finish it in this 1 week, coz tonight pi's relative will come for a visit, and they'll stay at our study room.. which means that I can't scrap for a week.. sob sob..

Oh.. lately Vio likes to shake shake his head left and right left and right. I wonder why he likes to do that? Maybe it's just a new-found thing for him :D

F is for Family

Managed to finish 1 LO over the weekend.. heeee.. this is a family photo taken during my parents visit to SG. I tried to use my "older" stash. And I did! In this LO, I used "Family" 7G Sticker, Maya Road scrolls chipboard, and Petaloo flowers that I've had since I first started this hobby.. OK it's only been few months, but hey, that 2 items are still considered older stash in my collection right? :)

A great weekend =)

Weekend has just passed! Aiyah that was fast.. First of all, I had an outing with ex-colleagues from Integro. It's the 1st time in a very long time since all 8 of us can make it to the outing! Normally at least there will be 1 or 2 who got something on.. hehee.. we went to Geek Terminal near Raffles Place MRT, which surprisingly, only have us as the customers even though they have a 1-for-1 promo! This outing is mostly to celebrate Yeniffer's and June's bday.. but the most bullied person is Hazel.. hahaa.. she was so cute and bulliable as always!

Oh, and not forgetting the complimentary cakes we got.. the oreo cheesecake is simply DELICIOUS!

Sat and Sun, we mostly stayed at home to play with Vio, and we took a afternoon nap together with Vio as well! Hehee..

On Saturday, we gave vio the first non-rice cereal solid.. and it was.. sweet potato! We mixed it in his rice cereal. Vio seems to like it.. but it's always been a messy affair while feeding him solid, since he loves to grab the spoon from our hand.. hahaa.. We also brush his gum for the first time, since I've just bought the fingerbrush from Kiddy Palace. His face was frowning, as there was an alien unidentified object messing inside his mouth... :D

Daddy was bathing Vio on Sunday, and daddy went naughty! He put the froggie bath toys on Vio's head.. *oops*

My First Shadow Box

I spent the last 1 week doing it.. yeah I know I'm slow.. but that's coz simply no time to do it.. I'm so happy that I finally finished it last night! It's meant to be displayed at my office cubicle, so that I can see at Vio's cute face all the time.. hehehee...

Eczema!

We just went to the PD last night since it's time for Vio's developmental assessment and injection. Vio weighs 8.3kg now! Wow isn't that fast?? He cried a bit during the injection, but not as loud as the previous one! The previous injection he was screaming like mad!

We also asked the doc about his unusuall crankiness (esp during night time when he wants to sleep, he can cry until dunno like what liao) and the red rashes he has at his back and neck. What we initially thought as prickly heat turns out to be ECZEMA.. doc said it's coz of vio has sensitive skin, which is hereditary, since both pi and i are having sensitive skin. Pi has even got eczema before! So doc asked us to change the body wash we're using, and also apply some medication on the affected area. And I thought sebamed (the brand vio is using now) is suitable for sensitive skin.. I hope vio will recover soon. I feel hurt everytime i see the red rashes on his body. It must be very itchy and he can't do anything about it :(

Playing with hands

Last night Savio was busy playing with his hands, i.e. open and close, open and close, and watching it in amazement. How cute is that!

Today lunch time, I went to Kiddy Palace (again) to buy blanket for Savio. Because the blanket he's using at home is fleece blanket. It's super hot since no air can come thru. Andd.. I caught him 2 times having his head caught UNDER the blanket. so scary! Lucky thing he keeps making some noise. I'm sure there's no air under the blanket. Until now, if I remember when I found his head under the blanket, I still feel so scared. I'm scared he can't breathe and we dunno about it! Especially since he's an "acrobatic" sleeper. He can somehow turn his body 180 degrees when he sleep.

So decided to buy him a new blanket. I was standing there choosing blanket for verrrry long. As usual, I can't make up my mind which one to buy. Initially I was thinking to buy thermal blanket. But this has got some "holes" in it, so I'm not sure whether it'll be warming enough. And somemore it's not so smooth to the skin. Finally I ask another mummy there who was also choosing blanket. And she pointed out that the blanket from Babysafe would be better, coz the blanket with "holes" are supposed to be for fan only as it's quite cooling.. heheee.. I dunno how true.. but anyway I finally bought the babysafe one.. I hope vio will feel comfortable in it :)

Opa & Oma going home :(

Can't believe how fast 1 week has passed. My parents have to go home liao.. They went home last night. Yesterday we went to Chinatown for shopping, and finally managed to find this Buddha Tooth Relic Temple that my brother has wanted to see since his last visit to SG. I've never even heard of it before he mentioned it! We look through the map but somehow can't find the place. Finally we asked someone manning a stall, only then we managed to find the place! We took some photos there and go home..

My parents say that Savio is very active and likes to smile. He also likes Koko Marcell very much! There was 1 night before bedtime that they play together. Marcell pretends to be  a frog that keeps jumping with frog sound: "kroooooook krok krok". Savio was laughing out loud. I've never seen him laughing THAT loud before.. hahaa..

Opa & Oma Visit!

Few days since I last update this blog, and it's bcoz my parents came for a visit! Last Sunday, pi and I brought Vio to the airport to fetch my parents, my brother, and Marcell. Vio was so happy to see many new ppl that he keeps smiling :)

First day we went to orhard then Sentosa and all of us ride on luge. My parents are quite happy they laugh while riding it. A new experience for them! After that we took the skyride, and also desperado. Desperado is a new attraction where we're supposed to shoot the bandits usign laser gun. It wasn't so nice as they repeat the scene bcoz it was too short! But it was a fun time. They highlighted the person who didn't shoot any target successfully, and got 1 time my dad was highlighted! haha.. after that we watched Song of the Sea.. they quite like it :)

2nd day was shopping day! we went to Bugis and shop a lot there.. my bro bought this nice shoe, and I wanted to buy 1 for pi too, since I think he'll love it. But then my bro say he'll pay for it to be a gift for pi.. thanks so much!

3rd day... we went to haw par villa. we took a double deck bus and marcell was soooo happy. It's his first time riding a bus! Haw par villa is apparently much nicer than what I imagined it would be.. we took LOTS of photos there. When it comes to lunch time... there's only 1 stall selling food there.. and guess  what's the only thing in the menu? INSTANT NOODLES! i wanna laugh out loud when I read the menu.. hehee.. but anyway the noodles are not bad :p 

after that, we went home and my parents, bro, and marcell are preparing to go to genting + kl. how i wish i can join them :p
