"Mommy... Mommy.. M!!"

Vio's showing great interest in alphabets and numbers lately (which he refers to as "ABC". So let's say he sees a series of letters (books, posters, etc), he'll say "ABC! So many ABC!"

So, last weekend we were just walking around in Jurong Point, and when we passed by McDonald's, Vio suddenly scream super excitedly: "Mommy! Mommy! M!!"  And the next thing he say was: "M is for Mommy!"  Wahaahhaa.. isn't he such a little smartie??

He can recognize some letters now... such as A, B, C, H, M, O, S.  So everytime he see the letter S, he'll say "S is for Savio!" Haha.. So so so proud of him :)

And as for the numbers, he can recognize number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 0. I think that's quite good for a 2 years+ ya? :D

A World of Balls

Vio is still living in the world of balls.. Yes.. morning, day, and night, ball is still his most favorite toys... Every room you step in my home, you'll surely see balls of many different sizes lying or hiding around. Well, I'd say that Vio is surely spoilt with choices when it comes to the number of balls he actually have inside our home. It's countless!

Cute thing is... he actually name some of his balls! Some of his favorite at the moment (and he named them by himself): happy face ball, basketball, orange basketball, tiger ball, pink ball, big ball, football, and the list goes on and on and on...

Not to mention he's really getting better at playing balls too. He can throw and catch the ball rather well, dribbling very well, kick very very well (high, low, hard, soft.. all he can do), and also play basketball (throwing balls inside basketball ring). Though the last one is based on his luck. Sometimes he can get it inside, and sometimes he can't.

And do you know that ball can be used as a small chair too?? LOL..

Oh well, it's good that he has found his passion at such a young age :p  Somemore it's one that doesn't need much investment (unlike my hobby that can cause a hole in the pocket :p)  Balls are cheap and reaaaally long lasting :D

Pregnancy: Week 33

Wow it's now a bi-weekly visit! Can't believe the baby's coming in about 1 months time! Hm.. and yet there are many things not ready yet... LOL..

Our appointment was at 9:55am on a Saturday morning. But we didn't manage to get a taxi for verrrryy long time. By the time we get one, it was already 9:55am.. Dotz.... So in the end, we're about half an hour late. Apparently that caused our turn to be put behind any people who come on time for their appointment. So they get to be seen first even though we came earlier than them.. Sob sob... In the end, we waited for about 2 hours... waaaa.. 2 hours! Haiz..

[caption id="attachment_2065" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Week 33"]Week 33[/caption]

The baby now weighs 2.178 kg.. As usual, the gynae mentioned all are good.. The picture of week 31 is much clearer. In this week 33 ultrasound, the baby looked like she has very thick lips. I certainly hope not! :p

The original plan was to go Far East Plaza after seeing gynae, coz I want to redeem the BigDeal coupon that I purchased sometime back. Do you know about BigDeal? Everyday they have different deals at very good prices. Sometimes it's really interesting! Few days back, I purchased fill-all-you-can cup of yoghurt for S$3.50 only! Wow... That's really cheap.. I remember the last time I go for that kind of yoghurt, a not so big serving already cost me more than S$5!

Anyway... We've almost cancelled our plan... But luckily, in the end we still went to Far East Plaza to have lunch and yoghurt as our dessert! I filled the cup with lots of yoghurt and toppings. And I took quite some strawberry slices and mochi coz Vio likes them very much. And in the end, the cup weighs about 330gr+. And the normal price: S$0.33 for 10 gr. That means... my yoghurt should've cost more than S$10! Wow.... I hope the shopkeeper wasn't upset with me for taking so much for only S$3.50 hehheeheee... :D

The yoghurt was nicee... Vio loved it a lot too. If next time there's a deal like this again, I'll certainly buy it again! ;)

Front-Open Cards

Still in the making cards kind of mood... This time round I feel like making a "different" kind of cards.. Soo... here's front-opened cards with cute die-cut shapes!

I used pretty rhinestones to decorate the die-cuts. Don't you think they look kinda cute? Kekekee.. check them out now here.

In Love with The Penguin

Have I told you that sometime back, Vio seemed to have high preference in things that can be pushed around? He'll play with them (push them around the house) often in the days. And even when going out, he insisted that he wants to bring them too!

The 2 things that he liked most were his yellow pushcart and his penguin bag.

One Sunday, we wanted to go to the church. And he insisted (and I mean... INSISTED) that we brought the penguin bag along. He cried rolling on the floor very loudly when we try to put the penguin bag back home. So.... that's how the penguin bag went with us...

Oh well, as you might have guessed, once we reach the taxi, Vio refused to bring the penguin bag by himself again. Tsk! So we have to carry the penguin bag for him around that day... Tsk!!

School Update

An update of school registration mentioned here.... We didn't get a place for Vio! Sobz.......... Apparently quite a lot registered, and the place is limited... And with our kind of luck.. Well.. I'd said it's not surprising that we didn't manage to get a place... *sigh*  Oh well, maybe it's not meant to be :p

On the other side... Vio seems to like school more now. He no longer say "Don't want school! Don't want school!"  He even walked willingly inside the classroom all by himself.. And there was one day when I send him to school, when he walked to the classroom, there were 2 other kids (already inside) shouting happily: "Saviooooooo..."  And Vio seemed happy! Wow.. He has made friends now! My little baby is really growing up!

And I heard that Vio is the closest with a Malay girl called "Dola". When we mentioned "Dola" to him, he'll laugh and say back again: "Dola" hahaha.. The first time I heard "Dola", I immediately think of "Dolaemon".. haha... *oops*  I hope Vio doesn't call his good friend Dolaemon now!

Correction: Vio's friend's name is actually Nyla, not Dola. Not sure who in the first place mention her name as Dola.. haha..
